CASF™ Certified Animal Safety Facility Program

CASF™ — Certified Animal Safety Facility™

CASF™ (Certified Animal Safety Facility™) is the certification program built on the Tyler Animal Interaction Safety Standard™ (TAISS™) and the Tyler Animal Interaction Risk Framework™.

CASF™ verifies that a facility has implemented structured safety protocols and completed a TAIRS™ risk evaluation to reduce animal interaction incidents and liability exposure.

Whether you operate a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, dog daycare, boarding facility, shelter, pet-friendly hotel, resort, extended-stay property, or HOA community, CASF™ delivers a structured system to help your team operate safer, consistently, and defensibly when incidents occur.

CASF™ Safety Assessment Areas

CASF™ assessments evaluate key operational safety areas, including:

            • Animal handling practices

           • Containment systems and equipment

           • Staff awareness and interaction protocols

           • Environmental interaction points

           • Incident prevention procedures

           • Documentation and safety policies

Each facility receives a structured evaluation designed to identify risk factors before incidents occur.

Who CASF™ Is For

CASF™ is designed for facilities and environments where animals are regularly handled, housed, or interact with the public.

            • Veterinarian Offices

          • Animal Hospitals (including emergency clinics)

          • Dog Daycare Facilities

          • Boarding & Kennel Facilities

          • Animal Shelters & Animal Control

          • Grooming Facilities (upon request)

          • HOAs / Residential Communities (modified program)

          • Pet-Friendly Hotels, Resorts, and Extended-Stay Properties

CASF™ may also be adapted for additional environments where animal containment, handling practices, and human interaction create potential safety risks.
